Course Description

This is a one-year course for third-year students. The course will be composed of three major sections. The first section will address specific writing problems encountered by students using their own written material. The second section of the course will deal with project work. For this course students will be required to produce two short research papers and a creative project. In the first part of the semester a project will be assigned to research in groups and worked on in class together. In the second part of the semester students will be expected to generate their own research paper. The third section of the course, semester two, will explore the use of English writing skills in creative contexts.

Grading Mid-term research paper for semester one: 40% Final research paper for semester one: 60%.
